According to The Business Standard newspaper Google is looking at broadband wireless access or BWA in the country and may participate in the auction.</p>
<p>India is set to begin an auction in January for 3G radio bandwidth. Foreign companies are also allowed to participate in this auction but Non-India companies will need to find Indian partners because foreign companies can buy up to 74% equity in such a venture.<br />
